Owl Eyes’ debut album, Night Swim, was released last Sunday. Off of this album is Owl Eyes’ first official remix from Goldroom of her track “Jewels & Sapphires”. As if the original wasn’t good enough, Goldrooms ability to add some funk into a track never ceases to amaze me. Now incase you weren’t aware Los Angeles native Goldroom aka Josh Legg is a solo effort branching off the synthpop trio NightWaves. Legg started on his own path in 2011 when he released his four song Angeles EP. He has this dreamy synth-disco sound that I honestly can’t stop listening too. Also it does help that a lot of his tracks are up for free download on SoundCloud. Even though this isn’t one of them, if you haven’t check out his work yet I highly recommend it.
